Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your corporate law related experience in a dynamic and growing business environment.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President and General Counsel, the ideal candidate will handle a variety of corporate law related matters, including contracts, product warranties, product literature, and litigation matters. Experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements including supply, packaging, equipment, private label, manufacturing, lease, real estate, service, license, information technology, warranty, and confidentiality agreements is required. Establishing and maintaining valuable professional working relationships with all departments, such as Procurement, Sales, Operations, R&D, Technical, Finance, and Human Resources is critical.
In addition, the Corporate Counsel - USA must be:
- Highly motivated, goal oriented, and willing to work in fast-paced environment.
- Able to develop an understanding of Sika's products, technologies, and business strategies.
- Able to regularly travel to Sika's businesses in the United States to provide legal support and training to Sika employees.
Qualifications- Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
- 2-5 years experience in Corporate, Commercial, and Product Liability Law is preferred.
- Basic Understanding of Corporate Finance/Accounting is preferred.
- High Energy Level.
- Strong Work Ethic.
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
