Job Description

We are seeking a Coordinator, Property Tax to join Brookfield in our Property Tax Department in the Denver, Colorado office. Reporting to the Director of Property Tax Reporting and supporting the Senior Vice President of Property Tax, the Coordinator will provide high-level administrative, operational, and project coordination support for the Property Tax Department. The successful candidate will own the department's administrative processes, maintain critical databases, coordinate tax appeal activities, support AI-driven initiatives through data management, and ensure timely execution of key operational deliverables across a rapidly expanding portfolio. Active demonstration of data analytics will be viewed as a plus.

Role & Responsibilities:

Department Data Administration
  • Maintain and administer the Property Tax Department's databases, ensuring data integrity, completeness, and accuracy
  • Coordinate receipt, tracking, distribution, and filing of property tax notices, assessments, appeals, hearing schedules, and related documentation
  • Monitor appeal deadlines, hearing dates, filing requirements, and other critical milestones while proactively communicating upcoming deliverables
  • Coordinate responses to taxing authority information requests and assist with document collection and submission
  • Maintain departmental tracking reports and ensure accurate status reporting across the portfolio

Property Tax Operations

Data Management & Process Improvement
  • Serve as the primary administrator for departmental data, ensuring consistent maintenance and quality control
  • Support the department's AI initiatives by preparing, organizing, validating, and maintaining structured data to be used in future automation processes
  • Create executive-ready presentations incorporating data visualization techniques to effectively communicate portfolio performance, project status, and operational insights
  • Partner with service providers to leverage business intelligence tools to automate reoccurring reports and create dynamic dashboards that improve reporting accuracy and reduce manual administrative efforts
  • Assist in developing standardized procedures, templates, and operating documentation for department processes

Financial & Vendor Coordination
  • Audit vendor invoices prior to final review by authorized approver
  • Maintain a database of service provider agreements and contracts
  • Create analytical analysis of the service provider's results and performance

Collaboration & Project Coordination
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support annual budget planning, financial forecasting, and expense reporting for departmental operations and represented business sectors
  • Serve as a liaison between the Property Tax Department and internal business groups including Accounting, Asset Management, Legal, Information Technology, and Property Management
  • Coordinate information gathering across multiple stakeholders to support tax appeals, reporting requirements, and strategic initiatives
  • Track the status of departmental projects and provide regular updates to leadership
  • Support additional departmental initiatives and special projects as assigned

Executive Level Support
  • Deliver executive-level administrative support to the department head, managing expense reporting and ensuring accurate, timely processing
  • Design and implement AI automation agents to triage emails, prioritize critical communications, and generate actionable task workflows
  • Manage executive email and calendar priorities by reviewing correspondence, coordinating schedules, and ensuring alignment with key business objectives


Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related discipline. MBA with demonstrated work skills preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing administrative or customer support within a corporate environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong aptitude for database management, reporting, and working with large data sets
  • Experience with one or more of the following to include SharePoint, Power BI, Yardi, or other enterprise systems
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, setting and communicating priorities when necessary
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical mindset with a continuous improvement approach to workflow processes
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while exercising sound judgment and professionalism


Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Type: Non-exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Annual Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000
