The OpportunityWe are seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to lead Norbert Health's next chapter alongside CEO Alexandre Winter. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the commercial, operational and regulatory engine - from go-to-market execution to clinical deployment to team development. You will set the pace, build the processes, and deliver the results that turn our Series B ambitions into reality.
The COO will run the operational side of the business end-to-end, while Alexandre focuses on technology, R&D, product, and investor relationships. We need a strong, decisive operator who holds the organization to a high bar and knows how to scale a team.
This can be considered a late co-founder opportunity, and a board seat will be considered as well.
What You Will OwnCommercial Development & Growth- Drive business development, strategic partnerships, and market expansion across healthcare operators and systems
- Identify and pursue new channels, geographies, and facility types for Norbert deployment
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at the operator and system level
Marketing & Communications- Own brand positioning, content strategy, and PR in coordination with the CEO
- Build the marketing function from early-stage infrastructure toward a scalable engine
Clinical Operations- Oversee clinical deployment strategy and ensure Norbert integrations run smoothly across facilities
- Hire and mentor clinical leads; ensure clinical function is resourced and accountable
Business Operations, Implementation & Regulatory- Own implementation, customer success, and account management functions
- Build and enforce operational processes, accountability systems, and KPIs across teams
- Own the regulatory strategy and compliance operations, including billing, certifications, and healthcare regulatory requirements
People & Team Development- Directly mentor and manage senior direct reports across sales, clinical, and ops
- Build a culture of follow-through, transparency, and high standards
What We're Looking For- 10+ years of experience in healthcare, healthtech, or medical devices - ideally in a scaling startup
- Demonstrated track record in sales leadership and go-to-market execution
- Experience managing cross-functional teams including clinical, operational, and commercial functions
- Strong operational discipline: you set KPIs, build processes, and hold teams accountable
- Excellent communication and follow-through - you say what you'll do and do what you say
- Comfortable in both strategic conversations and rolling up your sleeves on execution
- NYC-based or willing to spend 50%+ of time in New York

LocationNorbert Health is an in-office company. Our team works together in New York City, and we believe that building something this ambitious requires being in the same room. This role is based full-time in our NYC office.
