ProMach's Brenton is currently seeking a Controls Technician to commission, test and debug packaging/palletizing/stretch wrapping equipment. Provide electrical and controls support to Mechanical leads, Service Department and Brenton customers.
Are you motivated about this work?
• Troubleshoot PLC, Robotic and HMI programs for new and retrofit projects.
• Work with electrical designers on updates electrical schematics.
• Commission, test and debug robotic systems at Brenton facility.
• Ensure Brenton electrical standard are followed in controls designs.
• Provide technical support for customers both in the field and telephone troubleshooting.
• Domestic and International travel for machine installation support as required (up to 35% at times)

• Knowledge of components including Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, misc I/O devices, VFDs, servos, HMIs, pneumatics, safety circuits, vision and various industrial networks.
• Experience in Allen Bradley programming software RsLogix500, RsLogix5000 and FactoryTalk Studio ME.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics and read 2D & 3D AutoCad mechanical drawings.
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in written form.
• Ability to work independently and well with others.
• Ability to work in Microsoft's Office products (Word & Excel)
