Controls Engineer
You can look forward to these exciting tasks- Develop and modify PLC programs for automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, and quality systems
- Troubleshoot and optimize PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion controls, and safety systems to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
- Integrate sensors, machine vision, motion systems, and industrial networks into production equipment
- Create and maintain controls documentation, electrical schematics, and automation standards
- Support equipment launches, capital projects, supplier activities, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
This is what you bring to us- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
- 3+ years of controls engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
- Strong PLC programming experience using ladder logic and structured text, including development of new control systems
- Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens PLC platforms, industrial networking, and automation systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with robotics, machine vision, motion control, and related automation technologies
