onsite Controller in Charlottesville, VA to help strengthen, stabilize, and elevate the accounting function for a
mission-driven, multi-site organization.
This is NOT a "sit back and review the numbers" role. We need a
strong accountant + hands-on leader who can step in, take ownership, and make an impact.
What you'll own: - Lead and develop the accounting team
- Financial reporting, close, cash flow & budgeting
- Controls, audits & accounting infrastructure
- Multi-entity / multi-site accounting
- Process and systems improvements
- Bring structure, accountability & consistency
What we're looking for: - Proven accounting + leadership experience
- Strong technical fundamentals - CPA not required
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in the details
- Multi-site / multi-entity experience is a BIG plus
- Yardi experience? Even better!
- Willing to be onsite in Charlottesville
Experience with hospitality, real estate, property management, public accounting, or other complex operational environments can translate well for this role.
