Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Principal Control Account Manager (CAM)/Avionics Integration Engineer. This position will be on-site, located at our Melbourne, FL location.

What You'll Get To Do:
As a CAM, you will work with a technical team, leadership team and Business Management team to gather necessary information to control cost, schedule and performance of multiple statements of work. Along with forecasting of financial data and delivery of monthly program reports/presentations, you will update Earned Value Management (EVM) tools and produce required data products, review monthly Earned Value (EV) data and provide detailed cost account status, and support program requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform Control Account Management (CAM) duties
  • Coordinate with technical leadership in a cross functional Integrated Program Team (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule, and technical objectives
  • Develop and deliver presentations to program stakeholders
  • Define, plan, perform, monitor, control, and complete a variety of project tasks simultaneously
  • Track budget actuals against predictions and financial performance against the full EV performance management baseline, participate in CAM status calls, prepare status for/attend weekly status meeting, provide/enter periodic Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) status, support stakeholder meetings, review Actual Hours reports for time charging accuracy and alignment with IMS status.
  • On a monthly basis: calculate & enter Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETCs) into the financial system, analyze EV metrics and generate Variance Reports (VARs) as required, and attend meetings related to forecasting and spend plans for statements of work.
  • Coordinate with the scheduling team to develop and execute to an IMS
  • Coordinate Earned Value Change Requests (EVCRs) with the Business Management and Scheduling team as needed
  • Review labor resources and cost actuals on a weekly basis, initiating action on any discrepancies
  • Adhere to all internal processes for Program Management
  • Perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
  • Provide cost and schedule impacts for engineering change management packages
  • Prepare and present at government control account manager meetings
  • Ensure Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCIs) are mapped correctly in the IMS


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • (T03) Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of applicable experience, or 3 years with Master's Degree, PhD with 1 years of experience or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
  • (T02) Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 3 years of applicable experience, or 1 year with Master's Degree
    Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain program access approval with CAM Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams of multi-disciplined individuals responsible for the cost and schedule of the technical baseline.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface and collaborate with cross-functional, multi-discipline teams to deliver engineering outcomes such as productivity metrics, burn down plans, etc.
  • Experience with Control Account Management and Earned Value Management methodologies.
  • Experience with contracts executing full earned value management.
  • Capable of effective communication in a highly technical environment.
  • Willingness to learn program specific technologies/methodologies as applicable to the execution life cycle appropriate for an engineering role.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point.
  • Capable of providing Avionics Integration engineering support for the integration of aircraft flight deck systems to support the program.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of model-based systems engineering process and artifact creation.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization having excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience with Risk Management, Return to Green (RTG) plans, and scheduling cross functional activities.


Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $147,600.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
