Full Job Description
Our team is looking for a Contracts Manager to join them. You will report to the Contracts Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Chatsworth, CA. The Contract Manager will be responsible for managing contracts, which shall include reviewing, drafting, negotiating, novating and executing various Contracts and Agreements.

As a Contracts Manager, you will:
  • Ensure and maintain effective commercial governance in accordance with policies, procedures and processes.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, the successful individual must have excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
  • Support and implement commercial objectives and their effective management and achievement
  • Implementation of effective contract management during project lifecycles, including customer liaison and customer relationship management on contractual matters
  • Contribute to the commercial aspects of bids, including the drafting of terms and conditions
  • Preparation, review and negotiation of agreements, including but not limited to NDA's/PIA's, LTA's, Novation's, Contracts, to protect Company's commercial and legal interest
  • Ensure the effective flow of prime terms into contractual arrangements with suppliers
  • Lead contract negotiations for terms and conditions and manages contracts through senior functional management, referring to legal counsel when necessary
  • Maintain an awareness of current statutory requirements influencing contract development and administration
  • Coach and develop junior members of the team to deliver against objectives
  • Experience in Supplier/Subcontractor terms and relationship management
  • Adhere to legislation governing employment, including but not restricted to; health and safety; data protection; equal opportunities ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures
  • Comply with statutory requirements and regulations and Ontic Group policies
  • Undertake such other duties commensurate with the role that may be required from time to time
    Main Qualifications and Requirement:


  • Relevant business degree or minimum of 3 years' prior commercial and contractual experience demonstrating the above responsibilities.
  • Working experience of US Federal Acquisition FARS/DFARS and UK MOD DEFCON's
  • Experience of working with a diverse customer group base
  • an demonstrate the ability to identify key areas in contract terms supplied by other parties, that if accepted would represent a significant risk to the Company.

Compensation Pay Range

Added $115k in total base pay; please add in appropriate compensation range to target.
