Nightwing Contracts has a unique position for a Contracts Manager to support a diverse portfolio of contracts in the CODEX Business Unit. This role requires taking the lead in an environment that requires advanced contract negotiation skills along with program management and business development acumen. This role is for managing all pursuits and contracts with the CODEX DoW and Products portfolios, which includes customers in the IC, DoW and domestic commercial entities. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong negotiation skills with an ability to delivery results while remaining directly accountable for ensuing overall contract performance. The candidate must be a self-starter, capably of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives and must be able to interface with all levels of internal management, including customer management
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participate in proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration and customer contact activities to enable proper contract acquisition.
Provide support to senior management regarding contractual and business issues.
Provide strategic leadership to develop innovative contracting solutions to meet program and business area objectives.
Draft, review and negotiate contracts/contract modifications to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as public law requirements.
Summarize contract issues, research compliance matters, interpret regulations, identify risks, and formulate recommendations.
Act as the primary interface with customers during proposal phase, negotiations, and contract performance.
Negotiate sound business deals with customers and provide governance to the program team carrying out the terms and scope of the contract.
Handle several assignments concurrently while maintaining schedule deadlines.
Manage relationships with US Government customers.
Act as a key player in solving problems, developing solutions and assisting the business to achieve financial and performance goals and objectives.
Required Skills:
Must have a minimum 8 years of experience in a related field with a BA/BS degree OR a total of 12 years of relatable experience in lieu of a degree.

Knowledge of, and experience with, various types of contracts (e.g. Cost Reimbursement, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, etc.), NDA's, SOWs, Teaming Agreements and other commercial agreements.
Understanding of competitive procurements and ability to support the development and preparation of high quality, complex proposals
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations and ability to apply them appropriately, with an understanding of standard Prime Contractor flow down provisions.
