Job Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Remote - US
Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000, plus bonus eligible
Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, business-minded Contracts Manager to support a growing technology company delivering software, SaaS, and professional services, primarily in the aerospace and defense industry.
The Contracts Manager will own and coordinate the contract lifecycle-from initial review and negotiation through execution, administration, renewal, and closeout. This role will work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and executive leadership to help the company close business efficiently while appropriately managing legal and commercial risk. The Contracts Manager will act as the primary liaison between customers and the legal team.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced technology environment, can negotiate directly with sophisticated customers and vendors, and knows how to distinguish issues that require escalation from those that can be resolved using established company playbooks and sound business judgment.
What Success Looks LikeWithin this role, success means becoming a trusted partner to both the Legal team and the business. You will help the company close agreements efficiently, establish scalable contracting practices, improve visibility into contractual commitments, and ensure that material risks receive the right level of review.
You will balance speed, commercial practicality, and risk management-finding workable solutions rather than simply identifying problems.
