Description
We’re looking for you to join our team as a Contract Administrator (CA) based out of our Linthicum, MD area office. This is an onsite position that offers the 9/80 work schedule.

Our Mission Systems Sector Contracts team is seeking a motivated and engaged CA to fill a vitalrole within our Multidomain Sensing, Targeting, and Survivability (MSTS) Division. Specifically, you will directly support the Land & Maritime Sensors (LMS) Business Unit / Advanced Maritime Radar (AMR) Organizational Unit team as they work on critical, cutting-edge technologies!

Roles and Responsibilities:
As an integral member of the team, you will:
- Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts
- Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with Company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
- Prepare bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advise management of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data; and maintain historical information.
- Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review and analyze customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW)/contract requirements and advise the program team on terms and conditions
- Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification, and all other potential risk areas and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure Company proposals are fully responsive to customer requirements, coordinate appropriate levels of internal review for approval prior to submission
- Manage proposal fact-finding and conduct negotiations with customer with support from the program team
- Act as primary interface with customers for contractual issues
- Prepare and manage frequent written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters
- Collaborate with other functional groups (finance, supply chain, mission assurance, legal, etc.) during all phases of the contract lifecycle
- Maintain contract data into the Contract Management System and/or Enterprise Accounting System(s)
- Work under only very general supervision to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity to ensure Company compliance with contract requirements
- Duties may also include:
- The preparation and maintenance of proprietary information agreements, memorandum of understanding and other types of agreements
- Making contractual presentations to small groups

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 1 year of related experience
- Will accept 6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement
- General knowledge of commercial and government contracting, concepts and principles
- General knowledge of FAR/DFARs and associated Federal Contracting regulations & industry practices, techniques and standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret level security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior proposal preparation and negotiation experience
- Prior experience with a variety of contract types
- Prior experience/familiarity with large federal and/or commercial international programs

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,400.00 - $108,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
