Full Job Description
The Global Deal Management team (GDM) in the Amazon MGM Studios Distribution (AMSD) group is looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and creative Contract Administration Manager with experience in global TV and Film Distribution, Contract Rights, and Window Management. This role will work with AMSD Partner Engagement and Licensing teams to manage, deliver, and communicate all aspects of strategic initiatives, operations, and deal management across all media, with a focus on the Worldwide Home Entertainment business, including TVOD, EST, and Physical and Digital Home Entertainment. This position works cross-functionally across a broad range of stakeholders - Sales, Accounting, Delivery, and Legal - to ensure compliance and administrative controls. Successful candidates bring a broad range of knowledge to the position, from keen analytical abilities to critical thinking, delivering results in a timely fashion while influencing the team to streamline and optimize business processes. They will work with management to identify, develop, and execute strategic operational initiatives via a flexible, repeatable, and scalable process to support the evolving global distribution business. The ideal candidate will have a background in window management and contract rights administration at a studio or distributor - with hands-on experience across transactional and Home Entertainment business lines - proficiency in rights management systems, advanced Excel skills, and a working familiarity with AI tools and how they can be applied to reduce friction in deal management workflows. Key job responsibilities • Manage contract administration across global distribution deal management, with a focus on Worldwide Home Entertainment (TVOD, EST, and Physical/Digital Home Entertainment) • Validate and process content clearances, including collision check and risk assessment • Contract rights management data entry and deal proofing • Manage title and window setup for current releases, output deals, and library sales across global territories • Ensure compliance and manage end-to-end deal processes from pre-clearance to contract execution • Coordinate with worldwide Sales teams across all business lines on sales operations, windowing, and licensing - including partner notification and EMA delivery where applicable • Analyze and resolve deal blockers, escalating to leadership as needed • Conduct advanced data analysis and metrics to operationalize higher-level statistics (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and drive process improvements • Work independently and proactively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines across global deals and territories • Management of all global deals and territories • Identify opportunities to apply AI tools to streamline deal management workflows and reduce manual effort; participate in testing and implementing AI-driven solutions in partnership with the team About the team The GDM Team in the Amazon MGM Studios Distribution (AMSD) group is responsible for global deal management of 1P and 3P content licensing to SVOD, AVOD, TVOD, EST, FAST, Pay, and Free/Basic channels and platforms in over 200 markets. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 5+ years of global content distribution experience across digital media and/or all media - Proficiency in internal and external rights and deal management systems - Advanced Excel, MicroStrategy, Salesforce, Rightsline, Airtable - Ability to analyze and confirm negotiated contract terms against deal information - Familiarity with AI tools and platforms, and an understanding of how they can be applied in a media distribution or rights management context PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Background in Worldwide Home Entertainment window management or contract rights administration at a studio or distributor - Experience with TVOD and EST partner management, including EMA delivery and partner notification workflows - Demonstrated experience building tools or automations using AI platforms (e.g., Amazon Quick, Kiro, Aki, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) - Experience with prompt engineering or AI workflow design in a business context - Ability to quickly master proprietary databases and applications - Motivated and proactive problem solver; team player with a positive attitude - Clear and concise communicator with superior written, verbal, and presentation skills - Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills; detail oriented - Self-directed; able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines - Ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive initiatives to completion The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
