Continuity of Operations Specialist

The Opportunity:

Work side-by-side withIntelligence Community and Department of War senior leadersproviding strategicsupport that enhancescontinuity of operations. Utilizeyourleadership and technical expertiseto provide advisory and implementation support to continuity planning efforts by preparing for, mitigating, and responding tomissionimpacts duringexercises andreal-world events. Collaborate with subject matter experts across the enterprisetorefinebusiness continuity of operations plans, conduct business process analysis, assess business impacts,analyze data,develop strategic plans,and revisepolicies and procedures vital to continuing the client's mission.Lead small teams and projects, contribute to team deliverables, and developwritten reports and briefs for executive-level audiences.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience providing continuity of operations support to the federal government

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks with competing timelines

  • Ability to develop clear and effective written and verbal communication products for senior leadersutilizingOutlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to obtain a Professional Development Series, Professional Continuity Practitioner, or Associate Business Continuity Professional Certification within 6 months of start date

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience leading small teams and developing strategic plans

  • Knowledge of Federal Continuity Directives

  • Ability to travel in support of mission assurance activities, including one to three trips per year

  • Associate Business Continuity Professional Certification, Certified Business Continuity Professional Certification, or FEMA Level II Master Continuity Practitioner Certification

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual9s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen9s total compensation package for employees.
