About the roleThe Content Producer, Videographer, and Editor will join Zillow’s Studio Z, as a hands-on creative who takes video from concept to final delivery. This role at its core — visual creator and internal video capture resource, handling cinematography, lighting, audio, editing, and final delivery.
The video work spans educational, SEO-driven content, product launches, campaigns, and evergreen content. Projects include vlogger-style content, vodcasts, UI product animation walkthroughs, story-driven testimonials, and polished brand films. Video is part of a broader content ecosystem, helping ideas reach the right audience across YouTube, OLV, paid and organic social, landing pages, newsletter, blog, and more.
Self-sufficiency is the core qualification. This person supports concept development and shoot planning, then owns execution. They are scrappy and resourceful by instinct, making strong creative decisions within the guardrails of budget-conscious, fast turnaround projects and delivering a high quality bar with a small footprint. They know when a project warrants a full production and when a lightweight approach is the smarter creative choice. If a project calls for it, they can coordinate internal crew resources or lead and manage external vendor support — managing the production, running the set, and owning the visual execution.
This person should jump in wherever needed, bring others into the process, and help educate and elevate the team. This role cares about making great work, whether the task is big or small, and is always looking for ways to improve both the output and the process. Above all, this person is collaborative, entrepreneurial, positive, and kind.
We're not just building the engine, we're inventing one as well.
