Full Job Description
Overview

As part of the Consumer Lending team the Consumer Loan Processing Supervisor plays a key role in delivering our members products aimed at improving their financial wellbeing. Responsibilities include supervising a team of loan processors to ensure new loan applications are processed and completed according to establish policies and procedures. This person will collaborate internally with the Consumer Underwriters, Branches, and the Member Contact Center to ensure organizational goals are being met. The successful candidate must display a high level of integrity, communication, initiative, leadership, and problem resolution skills. This person must have strong time management, consistent and clear communication while providing excellent member service in a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and review the consumer loan pipeline to ensure applications are processed in a timely manner while following all credit union policies and applicable regulatory guidelines
  • Supervise processors to ensure all requirements of the processing role are being completed timely and accurately.
  • Train, coach and develop team to ensure production and quality metrics are consistently achieved
  • Achieve and maintain department/organizational goals related to quality, production, and member experience
  • Individually work with team members who are performing below established metrics, providing training and tips for success
  • In conjunction with the Consumer Loan Processing Manager provide goals and career pathing for team
  • Share best practices with Branch leadership as it relates to offering and providing members with consumer loan products
  • Identify and properly escalate irregularities and inconsistencies as one of the lines of defense in fraud prevention
  • Understand and comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Patelco Credit Union's policies and procedures
  • Work with technology team and other subject matter experts to get project requirements well scoped, designed and built for optimal member and team member experience in an agile environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have HS Diploma/GED
  • Previous consumer or mortgage lending experience preferred but not required
  • Prior Leadership experience
  • Prior customer service experience
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Target Base Pay

$89,315/yearly
