Position Overview:
The Consumer Insights Manager will serve as a key strategic insights partner to assigned business units, translating consumer understanding into better decisions across brand strategy, innovation, portfolio development, activation, and growth.
The role will also support the development and ongoing operation of the company's Consumer Insights capability, helping establish and maintain consistent research processes, methodologies, vendor partnerships, knowledge management, and learning agendas across the organization.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong research expertise, business curiosity, and the ability to move beyond reporting findings to identify clear implications and recommended actions.
Responsibilities:
Build & Optimize Consumer Insights
• Develop and improve consumer insights processes, tools, and governance.
• Manage research vendors, budgets, and project prioritization.
• Create learning agendas aligned with business goals.
• Leverage technology and AI to improve research efficiency and impact.
Strategic Business Partnership
• Serve as the consumer insights lead for assigned business units.
• Partner with Marketing, Innovation, R&D, Sales, and leadership.
• Identify consumer knowledge gaps and translate business challenges into research plans.
Lead Consumer & Brand Research
• Manage qualitative and quantitative research related to:
o Consumer needs and behaviors
o Segmentation and targeting
o Brand positioning and equity
o Consumer trends and decision journeys
o Messaging, packaging, pricing, and value perception
Support Innovation
• Lead consumer research throughout the innovation lifecycle, from opportunity identification through post-launch evaluation.
• Provide insights that shape and optimize product, packaging, claims, and pricing decisions.
Drive Actionable Insights
• Synthesize research into clear recommendations and business implications.
• Present findings to stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Connect consumer insights to brand, portfolio, and growth strategies.
• Track the impact of insights on business decisions.
Qualifications:
• Approximately 5-8+ years of Consumer Insights, Market Research, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing required.
• Experience in CPG, food, beverage, nutrition, or another consumer-driven industry strongly preferred.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research experience.
• Experience supporting brand strategy and innovation.
• Experience managing external research vendors and multiple concurrent research projects.
• Strong understanding of concept, product, packaging, claims, and consumer research methodologies.
• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
• Ability to translate consumer research into clear business implications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong curiosity and commercial orientation.
• Comfortable operating in an evolving environment and helping build new processes and capabilities.
• Travel as required to Little Chute, WI.
Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive base pay rate and benefits package for full-time employees. This role works at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility or remotely with occasional travel to Little Chute, WI.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
