Full Job Description
The Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to state and local education agency partners, applying a consultative approach to understand client priorities, assess complex challenges, and develop strategic solutions that improve educational outcomes. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to provide expert guidance, facilitate problem-solving, and support the development and execution of state and local initiatives that advance teaching and learning across Maryland. In addition, the Consultant will focus on growth and retention, ensuring that client relationships are nurtured and maintained for long-term success. The Consultant will partner with regional leadership and support state education agencies and school district clients in their efforts related to special education, strategic planning, data management and use. While a remote role, it is expected that the successful candidate will reside in Maryland and be able to travel as needed to meet with and support PCG teams. Duties and Responsibilities Leads account and client management efforts by cultivating relationships, aligning solutions with client objectives, driving client retention, and advancing opportunities for continued partnership and growth. Demonstrates strong project management skills, effectively leading multiple client engagements, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring successful project outcomes that align with client goals. Develops and maintains a statewide growth strategy for Maryland, aligning client needs, market opportunities, and organizational priorities to expand PCG6s presence, strengthen partnerships, and increase impact across the education sector. Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset. Ability to keenly listen to client needs and align to PCG6s products and services. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from project leadership, colleagues, and clients. Actively recognize areas for improvement, as well as promote and execute collaborative solutions. Commitment to exceptional client service and confidently lead with credibility. Required Experience Must be based in Maryland Bachelor's degree required, master6s degree a plus. 4 + years of related experience in education, healthcare, or consulting. Compensation: Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave. Range: $66,000 - $100,000 #LI-AH1 #LI-remote PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.
