The BRG Corporate Finance practice specializes in providing strategic, operational, and financial advice to private equity firms, management teams, boards of directors, investors, hedge funds, and other lenders or companies that are either underperforming or in transition. #ThinkBRG

Role Expectations:

  • Lead and contribute to client engagements focused on finance transformation, operational improvement, transaction readiness, and value creation initiatives
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify performance gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to working sessions with CFOs and other executives, private equity sponsors, and other stakeholders
  • Build financial models, scenario analysis, and KPI reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Develop clear, actionable recommendations and help implement process improvements across finance and operations
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, analyses, and executive-ready deliverables
  • Manage workstreams and junior team members, ensuring quality execution and timely delivery
  • Embrace the use of emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools to improve workflows, enhance analysis, and support innovative client solutions
  • Contribute to practice development efforts, including recruiting, training, client pitches, and thought leadership initiatives


Who We Are Looking For

Experience
  • 3-8 years of relevant experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, financial or operational due diligence, finance transformation, corporate finance, operational improvement, or related advisory roles
  • Experience working in both consulting and industry environments is a plus
  • Exposure to PE-backed companies or private credit environments is a plus
  • Experience in distressed or turnaround contexts is a plus


Skills & Capabilities
  • Strong financial modeling skills in Excel, including 3-statement models, cash flow models, and scenario analyses
  • Solid understanding of core finance and operational processes, including budgeting and forecasting, accounting close, treasury, order-to-cash, and procure-to-pay
  • Ability to digest large volumes of financial and operational data and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Familiarity with ERP, EPM, and BI platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Adaptive, Anaplan, Power BI, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage competing priorities
  • Self-starter who anticipates next steps and proactively solves problems


Education & Credentials
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field required
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent credential a plus


Other
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed based on project requirements
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship


Salary Range: $120,000 to $160,000 per year.
