Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric consultations within 24 hours of request
Deliver care for complex discharge cases
Participate in a 7 on/7 off work schedule
Mentor and teach medical students from Oregon Health and Science University
Engage in administrative duties as needed
Utilize ECT services as part of patient treatment

Full Job Description
PeaceHealth is seeking a Psychiatrist for a Hospital Consult Liaison position based in the Eugene/Springfield, OR community.
The addition of a psychiatrist dedicated to the Consult Service at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend will ensure that patient care needs will be addressed within 24 hours of a consult request. This will also allow for better coverage for difficult discharge cases.

Work schedule: 7 on/7 off
Consult Liaison Psychiatry at RiverBend Medical Center as primary work site
Variety and interesting/challenging group of patients
