We9re looking for a Construction Survey Party Chief in Fort McMurray, AB to lead one of our construction survey crews. Ideally, you have construction survey experience and want to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.
The Work:
- Lead construction surveys across Western Canada, including layout of facilities, piles and grading
- Run precise layout and control surveys
- Mentor and guide survey assistants on your crew
- Keep clear, accurate field notes, records and calculations
- Follow safety protocols and set the standard for your crew
- Work outdoors in all seasons and weather
- Travel for field rotations of up to 21 days
What you bring to the table:
- A geomatics diploma or degree from a technical college
- Experience leading a construction survey crew
- Experience with precise layout and control surveys
- Experience on industrial and commercial construction sites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
