Position Description

This position is for a Traveling Superintendent. You must be able to travel to jobsites within the southeast. Company pays for travel home twice a month.

We9re looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent with a strong background in ground-up commercial construction. This Superintendent is required to have over 10 years of experience as a superintendent on commercial ground-up construction. This position is for a traveling position throughout the southeast (usually within a 4-5 hour radius for projects from residence). Retail construction experience is highly preferred.

Our superintendents work closely with project managers to deliver quality builds on time and on budget. You9ll lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain safety standards, and represent the company to clients and inspectors alike. We value professionals who lead with integrity, collaborate with their teams, and take ownership of their work.

Position Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent on ground-up projects
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects (retail experience strongly preferred)
  • Able to travel for projects across the Southeast or work locally in Birmingham
  • Resume must include your project history (last 5-10 years minimum)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Solid understanding of OSHA and jobsite safety
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to navigate active jobsites (lifting up to 70 lbs, climbing, standing, crawling, etc.)
  • This position will require a background check and drug test.
