What You'll Do:
• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision for all onsite construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, materials, equipment, and inspections.
• Work closely with project managers to maintain project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and contract requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and project documents to ensure work is completed accurately.
• Plan and lead daily jobsite activities, subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and project coordination efforts.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays or conflicts, and implement practical solutions.
• Enforce company safety policies, jobsite procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality-control inspections and ensure deficiencies and punch-list items are resolved promptly.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, progress documentation, manpower records, and jobsite logs.
• Communicate professionally with clients, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and professional jobsite from mobilization through project closeout.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
• Has proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in commercial construction.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Can read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documents.
• Understands construction methods, sequencing, quality-control practices, and jobsite safety requirements.
• Is comfortable coordinating multiple trades and managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Takes ownership of project outcomes and holds team members accountable to safety, quality, and schedule expectations.
• Builds productive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and project teams.
• Is proficient with construction technology, scheduling tools, email, and digital reporting platforms.
• Can walk active jobsites, climb ladders and stairs, stand for extended periods, and work in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Has reliable transportation and is willing to travel to various jobsites as project needs require.
• Possesses a valid California driver's license.
• Is able to successfully complete a background check, driving record, and DMV check.
This is a full-time, jobsite-based position. Work locations may vary depending on project needs.
