Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a Construction Services Supervisor in our Washington, DC; Maryland; or Virginia office locations.
Responsibilities include:- Managing and mentoring staff, including assigning work and monitoring work quality
- Leading construction inspectors on materials testing and inspection procedures
- Conducting, coordinating, evaluating, and recommending training to develop staff skills
- Assisting the Department Manager with staffing resource allocation and business planning
- Providing project management and supervision for CEI projects
- Managing business development opportunities and client relationships
- Ensuring transportation group and M&H policies/procedures are maintained and followed
A valid driver's license and travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have all the following:- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
- At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience
OR
- Associate degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
- At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience
OR
- If no degree, must have at least 7 years of relevant engineering experience.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:- PE license in MD, DC or VA
- Ten (10) years of industry-related experience
- Construction Manager (CCM) Certification
- Experience supervising and mentoring staff
- Experience with construction site quality control and quality assurance, claim reviews, and reviewing change orders
- Experience with cost estimates and project scheduling
- Experience preparing proposals and managing contracts

Salary Range: $115,000 to $145,000 annually - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set, or location.
