Full Job Description
We are seeking experienced Construction Schedulers to provide schedule analysis and project-controls support for major NAVFAC construction programs.

The Scheduler will evaluate contractor schedules, develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules, identify potential delays and conflicts, and provide independent schedule analysis to Government project personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Review contractor baseline and updated construction schedules.
  • Analyze schedule logic, sequencing, durations, critical paths, and progress.
  • Identify schedule deficiencies, delays, and potential conflicts.
  • Provide recommendations regarding acceptance or rejection of contractor schedules.
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for multiple construction projects.
  • Coordinate schedule interfaces between multiple concurrent projects.
  • Perform schedule scenario analysis.
  • Review equipment delivery schedules and construction progress.
  • Provide monthly Construction Work in Place projections.
  • Conduct schedule analysis associated with contractor delay claims.
  • Develop Independent Time Impact Analyses for change-order negotiations.
  • Review schedule FRAGNETs and changes to critical-path activities.
  • Provide schedule reports, written comments, briefs, and recommendations.
  • Participate in project scheduling and coordination meetings.
  • Notify project leadership of potential schedule impacts affecting active or future projects.


Requirements

  • AACE International Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification.
  • Significant experience utilizing Primavera P6 for construction scheduling.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Engineering or Architectural disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience generating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules for large construction programs involving multiple phases and scopes.
  • Demonstrated experience performing Time Impact Analysis.
  • Experience conducting construction delay and critical-path analysis.
  • Experience using Schedule Analyzer or comparable schedule-analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and installation practices.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to prepare clear technical reports and brief senior management.
  • Ability to obtain required Government access/security eligibility.
  • Ability to conduct construction-site visits when necessary.
