Overview

Our new Project Manager will be the primary lead for the planning and build-out execution of assigned work. This role will be directly responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, coordinating project activities, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Additionally, in some projects, the CPM will lead in-house project teams through all phases of project execution including design, documentation and permitting, in addition to the construction phase.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams, ensuring project deliverables are aligned with the contract, completed in conformance with the project schedule and budget, and meet MG2 standards for quality and excellence.
  • Create and maintain accurate milestone-based project schedules and staffing workplans.
  • Assist with the development of project proposals and RFP responses as requested.
  • Continuously monitor project financial status and complete intermediate financial reviews.
  • Produce and issue weekly project updates, including documentation regarding contract deliverables, financial updates, contracts, and permitting reports.
  • Lead or direct internal and external project team meetings.
  • Participate in QA/QC procedures as applicable to assigned projects.
  • Identify and focus on opportunities to continuously improve service level and results.
  • Manage internal and external resources; ensure consistent quality and project profitability.
  • Manage the performance of team members, providing accurate and relevant feedback.
  • Perform bid, award, and ongoing management of General Contractors and third-party vendors throughout the full construction life cycle.
  • Liaise with Client in-house teams including but not limited to Operations, IT, Loss Prevention and Facilities to ensure cross functional collaboration throughout project lifecycle.
  • Perform procurement activities for Owner Supplied Items per project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal Construction Administration teams throughout the build cycle, and contribute to shop drawing and submittal reviews, and RFI responses.
  • Perform periodic site visits to ensure projects are meeting quality and schedule expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a Construction Management role, or combined experience within relevant roles.
  • Experience with Food & Beverage, Retail, Branding or Luxury projects a plus.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in various stages of development and with various degrees of complexity.
  • Ability to provide clear direction and accurate project updates to various levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of contracts and contract execution procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Project Management tools, and familiarity with Revit, Auto-CAD, and Sketchup.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.


Compensation: $96,000 to $128,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
