Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety meetings and inspections are conducted per the JPI safety program
  • Ensure proper staffing and core responsibilities are met
  • Complete and verify daily field reports for accuracy
  • Report and resolve any safety incidents
  • Prepare and execute weekly PSM and OAC reports and meetings
  • Maintain accurate and timely schedule snapshots
  • Resolve issues of subcontractor non-performance
  • Ensure quality of subcontractor work meets JPI standards
  • Capture and validate data effectively and timely
  • Validate pay application progress against milestones within 24 hours
  • Oversee accurate and complete subcontractor pre-pay application process
  • Conduct field team training and performance reviews
  • Manage Workday receipts accountability
  • Update GC budget in collaboration with the Commercial Lead
  • Adhere to JPI standards for site presentation and organization
  • Conduct turnover QA inspections
  • Coordinate with the Milestone Validation Lead for declarations before site closing

ABOUT THE JOB

The primary function of the Construction Manager is to oversee the Safety, Quality, and Financial operations of 2-3 active construction sites per the plan.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the site is performing all safety meetings and inspections as required by the JPI safety program

  • Ensure that projects are staffed appropriately per the plan, and the team is performing core responsibilities

  • Ensure Daily Field reports are complete and accurate

  • Accountable for safety incident reporting and resolution

  • Accountable for weekly PSM and OAC Reports and Responsible for executing all PSM and OAC meetings with timely resolution of all constraints as the responsible front-facing site representative to all other departments

  • Ensure schedule snapshot is accurate and timely, and meeting all milestones

  • Accountable for subcontractor non-performance issue resolution

  • Accountable for the quality and completeness of subk work performed per JPI standards

  • Ensure capture and validation of all data is done per the schedule and accurately resolved

  • Accountable for validation of pay app progress is in alignment with Milestone/Validation report and approved in <24hours

  • Ensure that the subk pre-pay app process is accurate and complete, with coordination of OSC

  • Responsible for field team training, reviews, documentation, and performance

  • Accountable for Workday receipts

  • Responsible for GC budget updates in coordination with the Commercial Lead

  • Accountable for Site Presentation and Organization adherence to JPI standards

  • Responsible for Turnover QC inspections

  • Accountable for 3rd party inspection closeouts

  • Responsible for Declarations prior to close, with consideration of AHJ closing requirements in coordination with the Milestone Validation Lead

Non-Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Act as a representative and advocate of JPI’s culture and guiding principles

  • 5-day (Monday-Friday) Physical Co-location in office or on job site

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a business or professional setting (inclusive of non-profit or government roles)

  • Proven experience in an executive support role or similar position

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Proficiency in using business software and tools, including MS Office and project management applications

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

General Base Pay Range

Please note that the posted annual base pay range reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity with existing associates, and the Company’s budget at the time of the offer. This range applies to base salary only. Additional compensation, such as bonuses or incentive plans, may be available and will be discussed with the Recruiter during the interview process.

 Annual Base Pay Range: $135,000 - $175,000
