Full Job Description
As a Construction Manager / Construction Analyst, you'll be in the field, working onsite with the construction management and inspection teams and acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience. This role is critical in the planning, coordination and execution of power generation projects, and safety is the highest priority. In addition to supporting construction activities, you'll serve as the Construction Management Team's lead resource for construction data, analytics, and digital delivery. You'll develop and maintain estimating tools, earned value management processes, KPI dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide project teams and leadership with actionable insights to make better decisions faster. Working closely with Construction and Project Managers, Project Development, Project Controls, and other stakeholders, you'll drive consistency in project reporting, improve visibility into cost and schedule performance, and support data-driven decision making across the project lifecycle. You'll also evaluate and implement emerging construction technologies, helping modernize field execution, improve reporting efficiency, and enhance overall project performance.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Accountable for front end construction planning, estimate development and analysis and contract management
  • Provides input in QA/QC staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management and liaison activities with stakeholders
  • Provides input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection
  • Reviews contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claims
  • Develops and manages construction progress reporting
  • Performs audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements
  • Assists in construction closeout
  • Provides onsite leadership to inspection team
  • Other duties as assigned


Education/Years of Experience:
  • Required: High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of six (6) years' related experience or CCM Certification
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Science or Construction Management


Additional Requirements:
  • Experience supporting construction, cost/schedule reporting or construction data analytics
  • Field experience supporting or managing construction
  • Experience in process facility construction and construction management systems, with comfort working across multiple data sources
  • Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Procore and general computer software/systems.


Physical and Environment Work Requirements:

Must be able to:
  • Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
  • Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs. and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs. as needed
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
  • Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
  • Use hand tools
