DescriptionThe City of Marysville is looking for a
Construction Manager to drive high-impact public infrastructure projects- including roadways, stormwater, and water/wastewater utilities. Reporting to the City Engineer, this position directs capital improvement projects, leads staff and consultants, and ensures compliance with engineering and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities - CIP & Project Management: Lead planning, scheduling, and funding for capital projects (water, sewer, street repaving); direct teams from concept to closeout.
- Pavement Program: Manage annual resurfacing using pavement rating software for data-driven recommendations.
- Funding Compliance: Ensure pay requests and documentation comply with state/federal agencies (ODOT, OPWC).
- Technical & Utility Analysis: Perform engineering calculations, maintain utility models, serve as lead contact for OUPS utility locates, and update GIS/AutoCAD records.
- Leadership & Communication: Supervise inspectors, specialists, and contractors; liaise with residents, regulatory bodies, and City Council.
Job Requirements - Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required (Master's is a plus).
- Experience: 6+ years of civil engineering and project management experience, including design, surveying, and construction inspection.
- Licensure: Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license recommended; valid Ohio driver's license required.
