About the Role:Job Title: Senior Construction Manager (MEP)
Location: South Hill, VA (onsite 5 days)Responsibilities- Daily execution oversight: field coordination, progress verification, and constraint removal.
- Schedule health support: look-ahead planning, critical-path risk identification, and mitigation actions.
- Contractor coordination: alignment across GC, trades, and commissioning agent (work sequencing and readiness)
- Technical workflow support: RFI/submittal/MOP/work plan review for completeness and compliance.
- Commissioning readiness enablement: installation verification, deficiency tracking, and IST readiness inputs.
- Standardized field reporting package: daily reports, photo logs, progress notes, and issue/escalation documentation.
- Hazardous energy control and safety: work procedure review, risk assessments, and Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) execution to verify MEP systems in a zero-energy state.
Required skills- Mission-critical construction delivery experience (data center preferred)
- Mechanical & Electrical/ MEP
- Strong field documentation discipline; comfort operating in high-compliance environments
- Working knowledge of commissioning/turnover lifecycle and construction change controls
- 7 yrs+ experience in ground up construction
- Experience with underground electrical plumbing
