Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering Technology, or relevant Journeyman Trade Certificate (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Pipefitting).
• 7-10+ years of field-based industrial construction experience, specifically in Alberta.
• Direct exposure to safety management and QA/QC procedures in power, heavy industrial, or oil & gas sectors.
• Certifications in CSO/CSTS-20, Standard First Aid, and Hazard Identification or QA/QC practices; CRSP/NCSO designation preferred.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings, P&IDs, and single-line diagrams, along with basic scheduling tools like MS Project or Procore.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Bitdeer's representative on-site, ensuring construction execution meets design and contractual quality and schedule.
• Audit field safety compliance of contractors and enforce adherence to OH&S regulations, including leading safety discussions and audits.
• Oversee execution of Inspection Test Plans, conducting routine inspections against project specifications and managing quality documentation.
• Coordinate weekly planning activities to identify conflicts and ensure safe project execution, participating in critical construction meetings.
• Inspect incoming equipment and materials for compliance, overseeing proper handling and storage processes.
• Maintain daily construction logs and assist in verification of completed work for progress reports and final turnover packages.
