Full Job Description
Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Construction and A&D Relationship Manager to join our team. This position plays a key role in building and managing commercial construction lending relationships, working closely with clients, credit partners, and community stakeholders to support sound lending decisions and project success.

What You'll Do:

A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):
  • Develop loans, maintain loan portfolio, collect delinquent loans, service their client base, collect customer data and provide information as requested for Market Executive, Construction and A&D Executive Vice President, Lending/Credit Administration and/or Regional President.
  • Assist assigned regions as it pertains specifically to Commercial Construction as follows:
  • Responsible for initial evaluation of risks related to the market, lease up/stabilization, project costs, approval status, and construction administration.
  • Works directly with credit department employees to gather and evaluate post approval and pre settlement construction administration required documentation such as budgets, contracts, HVCRE determinations, building permits, etc.
  • Along with credit department employees maintains responsibility for ongoing construction management to ensure successful completion of construction and stabilization or sell out of projects.
  • Prepares documentation and supporting information for credit decision recommendations and works with the credit department and loan portfolio specialists to prepare credit memos in nCino.
  • Responsible for resolving all outstanding documentation and loan expectations.
  • Achieve loan, deposit, and referral goals as defined in incentive compensation plan.
  • Reports pertinent information to immediate supervisor as required; compiles necessary information as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel.
  • This role is expected to actively participate in community events and maintain membership(s) in local, non-profit organizations (preferably in an executive/board role).
  • Responds to inquiries or requests from other personnel, customers etc., within given time frames and within established procedure.
  • Performs self-evaluation paperwork on or before the due date on an annual basis.
  • Performs any duties assigned by the Construction and A&D Executive Vice President /Regional President relating to the Bank and its functions
  • Demonstrates compliance awareness by completing all required regulatory and compliance training (e.g., BSA, CRA, ECOA) on or before deadlines, and actively supporting all policies, procedures, and practices that promote risk management, safety, and regulatory adherence.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  • Full-time.
  • Exempt.
  • Days of Work: Monday-Friday.

Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field or a comparable level of experience and education.
  • 5-10 years of commercial lending or commercial banking experience, including proven business development success.
  • Experience with complex loan structuring, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
  • Federal NMLS License may be required for this role following company training and if business need exists.

Compensation:
  • The pay range for this position is $107,000 to $164,300 annually.
  • Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
