COMSEC Policy Engineer
As a part of KBR’s Intel group, you work on some of the toughest, most interesting problems, and work with some of the top experts in the industry.
A Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) provides technical expertise to the Government. By working hand-in-hand with your Government customer, you’ll have the opportunity to influence mission success to a greater degree than anywhere else.
Work Environment:
Responsibilities may include:
Assist the Government in establishment and enforcement of COMSEC policies
Ensure compliance and reporting consistent with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Integrate Space & Terrestrial requirements into COMSEC policy
Review & develop program policies in support of COMSEC & Crypto programs
Author guidance, instructions and directives to support COMSEC requirements
Evaluate & make recommendations for modifications to existing processes
Analyze risk and recommend mitigations
Request adjudication for reportable incidents
Deliver metrics and trend analysis on incidents
Author or modify inspection checklists for COMSEC Officers
Participate in COMSEC Working Group & Space COMSEC Requirements Review
Qualifications:
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
Education: BS in STEM degree
Experience: 10+ years’ experience in Space and Terrestrial and/or COMSEC policy
Skills: Superb communication & technical writing skills
DOD: Military / DOD / IC space and ground experience
