JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Compliance Risk Management Lead - Vice President supporting the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organization, you will report to the team's Executive Director focusing on the Kinexys by J.P. Morgan business unit, which sits in the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Payments business.  In this role, you will provide second line oversight, assess compliance and operational risk for new Kinexys products, technologies, and vendor relationships, and support process improvements across the business.

You will be part of a diverse team of CCOR professionals, fostering cross-functional collaboration and supporting all areas of the business globally. Your contributions will help ensure innovative, risk-based solutions and robust controls for business partners.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support compliance and operational risk management activities across Kinexys and CIB Payments, aligning with firmwide objectives and regulatory expectations.
  • Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders in the review and implementation of new products, services, vendor relationships, and client onboarding, ensuring robust risk and control frameworks.
  • Participate in working groups to develop and enhance blockchain / digital ledger technology risk management frameworks.
  • Represent Payments CCOR in control forums, business meetings, and industry events, communicating clear and compelling risk and compliance messages.
  • Monitor regulatory and legislative changes, providing oversight and guidance for business implementation of new rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Support second line controls to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies, contributing to continuous improvement and process efficiency.
  • Review and assess new business initiatives for regulatory and operational risk implications, supporting innovative and compliant business outcomes.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Compliance, Operational Risk, Legal, Product, Payments, Audit, Finance, and Control Management teams, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Participate in team development and feedback, contributing to an inclusive environment for growth and excellence.
