Full Job Description
About the role:
As a Compliance Lead, you will support several teams across Enova's Compliance Risk & Assurance function. Priorities will shift between areas, so this role suits someone who enjoys variety and adapts quickly. The work includes building risk frameworks, supporting risk assessments, designing and executing large-scale compliance tests, and validating that compliance-related corrective actions are complete and effective. AI tools such as Claude are central to how this team works. You should be fluent with AI tools and able to apply them to compliance work with sound judgment about accuracy and data handling.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Compliance Risk, Compliance Advisory, Legal, and Enova's business units to design, document, and maintain risk frameworks for emerging products, services, and features, including risk taxonomies, key risk indicators (KRIs), monitoring, and reporting.
Support the design and execution of compliance risk assessment activity, including periodic refreshes of existing assessments.
Support Compliance Testing in designing, building, executing, and validating large-scale tests.
Perform independent validation of compliance-related corrective actions to confirm that they are complete, address root cause, and are sustainable.
Support compliance reporting and data intelligence, including KRI monitoring and analysis.
Use Claude and other AI tools in daily work, including risk framework development, risk monitoring, test design and execution, research, and documentation. Review AI output for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, compliance testing, internal audit, or a related assurance discipline
Hands-on experience in at least two of these areas: risk framework design, compliance or control testing, corrective action validation, and enterprise or compliance risk assessments
Demonstrated use of generative AI tools, such as Claude, to produce tests, risk assessments, analysis, or reporting, with critical review of AI output and awareness of data handling limits
Ability to structure ambiguous problems and produce well-documented, defensible work
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining conclusions to senior stakeholders
Strong organizational skills and the ability to move between teams and priorities as needs change while keeping quality and deadlines
Experience adjusting approach and methods as regulatory expectations, business priorities, and AI capabilities change
Experience building tools or automation, for example with SQL, Ruby, Python, or low-code platforms, is a plus
Experience with U.S. consumer and small business financial services, particularly consumer protection or regulatory compliance, is highly desirable. Relevant laws and standards include TILA, ECOA, FCRA, FDCPA, EFTA, MLA, SCRA, and UDAAP/UDAP
