Job Description

The Compensation Analyst supports the administration of compensation programs that align with organizational objectives and maintain external market competitiveness. This role conducts job evaluations, market pricing, compensation analyses, and compensation program administration while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Compensation Analyst partners with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, HR Systems, and business leaders to provide accurate compensation data and support compensation-related initiatives.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluates job content and assists in preparing job descriptions for market pricing, grade assignment, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance. Ensures job responsibilities, duties, and requirements are accurately documented and maintained.
  • Conducts compensation analysis for hires, promotions, transfer and equity adjustments. Primary partner for Regional Distribution Center and Customer Advocacy management teams and HR Business Partners while supporting Lead Compensation Analyst in analysis for other departments.
  • Participates in compensation surveys, analyzes market data, and assists with benchmarking positions to evaluate competitiveness within the marketplace.
  • Manage the biweekly compensation, payroll and HR Systems activities to facilitate all job and pay changes.
  • Supports administration of compensation programs including salary structures, annual & quarterly incentive plans, and recognition programs. Assists with communication and implementation activities related to these programs.
  • Assists with the annual merit and incentive compensation processes, including system configuration, testing, auditing, and employee data validation.
  • Maintains compensation systems and reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Supports vendor relationships and troubleshooting activities as needed.
  • Lead the Regional Distribution Center bonus program administration and reporting.
  • Support and evaluate the relocation and COLA program.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists with reporting, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Participates in compensation-related projects, process improvements, and special analyses as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    Experience working with HRIS/HCM systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and compensation practices quickly.
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional), Preferred

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required in business, finance, information technology or a related field OR H.S. Diploma with equivalent years of experience with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Office Location: Camden, NJ apart of the Greater Philadelphia Area (Philly)
  • Hybrid Role: Hybrid Role - Remote work 2 days per week (after 90 days) [Wednesdays & Fridays]

COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 - $105,000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is bonus-eligible, with a target bonus percentage that provides an opportunity to earn even more based on your performance. (Internal Job Grade: P2)
