Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The Compensation Advisor supports the design, administration, analysis, and delivery of compensation programs across the organization. This role combines compensation analytics, market benchmarking, reporting, and business partnership to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives. The Compensation Advisor works closely with Senior Comp Partners, HR Business Partners, Talent, Finance, HR Operations, and the business to provide data-driven compensation insights and support key compensation initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities

Data, Analytics & Reporting
• Support the collection, management and integrity of compensation and workforce data.
• Partner with HR Operations & IT to ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
• Assist with audits, data validation, and compliance reporting activities.
• Develop and automate recurring reports and dashboards aggregating data from multiple internal sources, including headcount, compensation history, organizational structures, market data, and job architecture.

Compensation Analysis & Consulting
• Analyze and interpret compensation data to provide insights and recommendations that support talent and business decisions.
• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analyses using external compensation surveys and internal data.
• Support compensation reviews for new hires, promotions, transfers, retention requests, and organizational changes.
• Assist HR Business Partners and managers with compensation-related guidance, including pay positioning, range placement, and market competitiveness.
• Ensure compensation decisions align with internal equity, compensation philosophy, and organizational guidelines.
• Produce analyses and presentations that translate complex compensation data into actionable business insights.

Compensation Program
• Support the development and administration of compensation programs, including base salary structures, annual compensation reviews, incentive plans, and pay transparency and job architecture initiatives.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and documentation of compensation policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Support job evaluation and job architecture initiatives through market analysis and role assessment.

Projects & Continuous Improvement
• Support global and regional compensation projects, including annual cycles, system implementations, policy changes, and job architecture initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of compensation and reward programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting capabilities, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Stay informed of market trends, regulatory developments, and compensation best practices.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, HR analytics or related discipline such as business analytics or financial analysis with a desire to learn compensation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with advanced Excel proficiency and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of compensation programs and practices, including market pricing, salary structures, incentive plans, job evaluation, pay administration, and market benchmarking.
• Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex information and influence recommendations.
• Experience with HR technology and reporting tools, including Workday, HRIS platforms, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, combined with strong project management, organization, and attention to detail.
