Develop and help implement communication strategies that determine how ideas live, engage, and spread. What are the key responsibilities?
• Develop communications strategies and plans with guidance from senior team members.
• Turn research, audience behavior, cultural trends, and media intelligence into clear strategic recommendations.
• Build communication architectures, consumer journeys, channel roles, and tactical recommendations.
• Understand the fundamentals of media planning, including terminology, media math, planning processes, and measurement.
• Identify relevant media behaviors, platforms, partners, and emerging opportunities that can strengthen creative ideas.
• Partner closely with Brand Strategy, Creative, Account Management, media agencies, and external partners.
• Help translate creative ideas into actionable communications plans.
• Manage assigned workstreams proactively, keeping projects moving and stakeholders informed.
• Present strategic thinking clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients.
• Stay immersed in media, culture, technology, advertising, and how ideas spread.
What qualities are we looking for?
• Curious, analytical, and creatively minded.
• Able to connect disparate pieces of information into a bigger picture.
• Clear and concise thinker and communicator.
• Proactive and dependable in managing work and deadlines.
• Comfortable working across disciplines and asking good questions.
• Strong point of view, balanced with openness to collaboration.
• Excited by both ideas and the mechanics required to make them happen.
What skills and experience should you already possess?
• Approximately 2-4 years of relevant experience in communications planning, media strategy, advertising, marketing, or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of media terminology, channels, planning processes, and basic media math.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Strong PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Experience developing and presenting strategic recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision.
