Reliable Electric and Lighting is looking for an experienced Commercial Service Electrician to support our growing Milwaukee-area market.

Requirements

This Is Commercial Service Work

This is not an entry-level position and it is not a large construction-project role.

Our Commercial Service Electricians work independently in the field, troubleshooting problems and completing electrical service calls for commercial customers throughout the Milwaukee market.

You'll have a support team behind you, but we're looking for an electrician who has the experience and confidence to diagnose a problem and determine what needs to be done.
Typical Work Includes

• Troubleshooting electrical circuits and equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems
• Commercial lighting and lighting-control troubleshooting
• Circuit tracing
• Breaker and panel work
• Replacing and installing electrical devices and components
• Running conduit and pulling wire
• Installing new circuits and equipment
• Commercial electrical repairs and modifications
• Emergency and scheduled service calls
• Completing service documentation
• Communicating with customers and our Service Department

We're Looking for an Experienced Electrician

We are especially interested in electricians with 7+ years of commercial electrical experience, although demonstrated ability and knowledge are more important than a specific number of years.

The right candidate should:

• Have strong commercial electrical troubleshooting skills
• Be capable of working independently
• Understand commercial electrical systems and the NEC
• Be comfortable diagnosing problems rather than simply working from prints
• Have experience with conduit, panels, circuits, lighting, and commercial equipment
• Be professional when working in occupied commercial locations
• Communicate effectively with customers and our Service Department
• Maintain accurate paperwork and job documentation
• Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Be dependable, responsive, and professional
