A Snapshot of Your Day

As Senior CPM in the Gas Services Central organization of Siemens Energy, you will work in a high-growth business environment with commercial responsibility for delivering business results. In active collaboration with the project management organization, the role envisages execution of B & C category Long Term Parts and Service contracts according to the defined Project Management (PM) standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG).

How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
  • Take full ownership of Annual and Quarterly Financial Plans for the business in the country.
  • Deliver a high quality financial and business forecast for different stakeholders.
  • Take lead on Internal Audits / Reviews, RIC compliance, and coordination with external audits.
  • Participating in Monthly and Quarterly Project Review Meetings and Certification calls to represent the GS C CPM on critical items.
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable guidelines in managing the projects i.e. FRGs, NCM, LoA, transfer pricing, tax, BCGs, ECC and applicable laws.
  • Ensure Proper Risk / Opportunity Management is in place to identify and mitigate project risks at an early stage.
  • Managing foreign currency risk in the projects in line with hedging/currency guidelines.
  • Managing project guarantees, bonds, and project insurances in an effective manner.
  • Manage stakeholders' requirements (customers, subcontractors, internal organization, consortium partners and other team members etc.)
What You Bring
  • ( Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting / finance. Master's degree or Global Accounting
  • 7-10 years of experience as CPM / Project Finance Lead for handling of long-term / complex "B/C" category projects.
  • (Can add maximum 3 additional bullet points/skills, e.g. "Effective communication and presentation skills" or "Excellent knowledge in SAP (or other software/hardware).
  • Certification (CIMA, CA, ACCA, CPA) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Siemens Energy / IPMA Certification for "B/C" Category projects preferred.
  • Experience with Business Processes (Project Management, Sales, LoA, NCM etc...)
  • Familiarization with Accounting Principles (IFRS / FRGs). Sound knowledge of accounting for complex cross border projects to guide the team.
  • Command on Asset Management to maintain Capital Efficiency. Control on Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
  • Contract/Claim Management.
  • Proficiency with related SAP Data Reporting modules.
  • Experience with Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting, and Analysis.
