Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney
Tampa, Florida | $90,000 to $100,000/year + $7,000 to $8,000 flat commission
Full Time | In Person

This is an opportunity for a commercial litigator who wants more than a desk filled with research and drafting. You'll work alongside experienced attorneys on sophisticated matters while developing your skills across the full litigation lifecycle.
You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful work, interact directly with clients and opposing counsel, and participate in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
What you'll do
- Litigate commercial disputes from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Work with senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation management.
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Manage an active caseload while meeting litigation deadlines and billable requirements.
What you'll need
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Commercial litigation experience in both state and federal court.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience handling depositions and court appearances appropriate to your level of experience.
- Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal rules of procedure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
