Full Job Description
The Commercial Banker, GNPH is responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio consisting of Government, Not-for-Profit, Healthcare, and/or Education commercial customers, expanding existing customer relationships, and developing new business. The Relationship Manager works with clients that are typically $20M - $500M in revenue. This position provides exceptional service to build and strengthen customer relationships by identifying and promoting products and services that fulfill customer needs. Responsible for new business development through referral sources and cold calling efforts.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and develop existing portfolio by assessing and meeting clients' business and organizational needs
  • Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new commercial business relationships
  • Negotiate proper loan structure and effectively cross sell products
  • Maintain properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loans
  • Maintains comprehensive understanding of current commercial products offered in the market and keeps informed of all relevant industry trends and practices
  • Maintain and build a professional network of COI's and referral sources
  • Maintain a stable network of prospective customers with a consistent approach to calling
  • Engage in a mission-oriented board to increase networking connections and add value to the community


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a business, finance, economics or accounting major (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of general credit and risk principles, mitigants, and banking policies/procedures; formal bank credit training is preferred
  • Familiarity with cash management solutions (payables, receivables, liquidity optimization, etc.) and an awareness for how to create efficiency for clients
  • 4+ years' commercial banking experience, preferably in government, not-for-profit, healthcare, and/or education
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability establishing client relationships and working within a team environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to proactively manage and prioritize workflow

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000 - $158,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
