We are looking for a Collision Shop Manager to lead, develop, and inspire our Service team at Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac of Ann Arbor. This role is a key driver of performance, culture, and customer experience.

What You'll Do

The Collision Shop Manager is responsible for the overall performance, profitability, and daily operations of an OEM franchise collision center. This role oversees insurance (DRP), customer-pay, warranty, and internal dealership repair work while driving production efficiency, customer satisfaction, quality repairs, and team development. The Collision Shop Manager reports directly to the General Manager

  • Manage daily collision center operations, including estimating, production, body, paint, and delivery processes.
  • Drive revenue, gross profit, cycle time, CSI, and productivity performance.
  • Oversee DRP, customer-pay, internal, and warranty repair work to maximize shop efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure repairs meet OEM standards, insurance guidelines, and company quality expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance partners, customers, vendors, and dealership leadership.
  • Monitor work-in-process, estimate accuracy, supplements, and repair timelines.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop collision center employees.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze key performance metrics and implement process improvements.
  • All other duties as required by leadership.


What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of collision center management or leadership experience.
  • Experience managing DRP, customer-pay, and dealership internal repair operations.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating, repair planning, production management, and OEM repair procedures.
  • Proven ability to recruit personnel and lead teams to achieve financial and operational goals.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of CSI, cycle time, technician productivity, and collision center KPIs.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.


Total Rewards

$8,000.00 - $10,000.00/ per month

This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes a Base/Salary/Hourly offset and the opportunity to earn bonus and commission.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
