Full Job Description
Position Title: Security Researcher
Location: San Antonio, TX | Melbourne, FL
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI
Employment type: Full Time


We are looking for a committed CNO Developer to join our Cyber security team. You will solve uniquely challenging problems for our Defense and Homeland Security customers. Get s#it done.

This position requires an Active US Top Secret security clearance, and the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI Special Access Program access

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Building offense-grade software that operates in denied, constrained, and adversarial environments
  • Designing, implementing, and debugging custom CNO capabilities across userland, kernel, and network layers
  • Tearing down, modernizing, and re-engineering legacy and acquired tooling for performance, stealth, and maintainability
  • Developing software that runs where defenders don't want it (Windows, Linux/Unix, embedded, mobile, and network devices)
  • Performing deep binary analysis and reverse engineering across architectures and calling conventions
  • Owning and evolving reproducible build systems, toolchains, and test harnesses
  • Working close to the metal: compilers, loaders, memory, execution flow, and runtime behavior
  • Traveling as determined by the customer


WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

  • Experience programming in C and Python
  • Experience developing CNO or exploit capabilities
  • Embedded or firmware development experience on resource-constrained systems
  • Experience developing in one (1) or more of the following:
    • Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments
    • UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments
  • Familiarity with software version control tools (e.g., Git, Subversion, or CVS)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo)
  • Experience using software debugging/troubleshooting tools and techniques
  • Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience
  • Comfort writing assembly or mixed C/ASM when the problem demands it
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively interact with customers
