3+ years of quality inspection experience required.
Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Experience using measurement devices like calipers and micrometers.
Working knowledge of the metric system.
CNC or CMM experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (mainly Excel and Word).

Position: QC Inspector
Hours: 40 hours per week ((2nd Shift)
Position Summary
The Quality Control Inspector provides Quality Control support to ensure that products provided are in accordance with specifications and customer quality requirements. You will work independently and jointly with other staff.
Responsibilities
Perform dimension inspection layouts using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), height gages, calipers, and micrometers
Assure pieces are within specified geometric tolerances and are in compliance with engineered drawings and company/customer specifications
Maintain and calibrate inspection room equipment inventory
Multi-task, be a self starter, work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently
Assures quality product by conducting in-process inspections; evaluating finished product
Determines acceptability of rework by conducting inspections and physical tests of reworked product
Developing and maintaining quality assurance procedures
Maintains quality assurance operations by following quality assurance policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
Responsible for Non-Conformance Reports
Works with all departments on Root Cause Analysis
Must contribute to Doering's culture of continuous improvement
