Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with a Polygraph security clearance required.
  • Hadoop/Cloud System Administration Certification with 5+ years of experience managing large Hadoop clusters (>200 nodes).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic Linux tasks including SSH access and software installation.
  • Install and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Gather system status reports and perform health checks on Linux machines.
  • Collaborate with the CCC Partnerships Team to onboard DIB companies.
  • Monitor and maintain the functionality of large Hadoop clusters.

Full Job Description
We are hiring a Cloud Systems Administrator to work in Annapolis Junction, MD. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.

Required: TS/SCI with a Polygraph

Description:
This team helps vet and onboard DIB companies with the variety of services the CCC Partnerships Team offers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform basic Linux tasks to include SSH to remotely connect to a linux machine, install software in linux (RPM, YUM), understand docker, kubernetes, traefik etc and gather status from linux machines.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
  • Hadoop/Cloud System Administration Certification with five (5) years of experience managing and monitoring large Hadoop clusters (>200 nodes).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional experience on projects with similar requirements may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
