Full Job Description
You are:
You're a cloud platform specialist who automates everything, enforces guardrails, and keeps platforms reliable and cost-efficient. You lead incidents, mentor others, and partner with architecture to land secure patterns at scale.

The Work:
  • Operate and optimize hybrid cloud estates (Google Distributed Cloud/Anthos, Azure Stack, Outposts, Nutanix) with enterprise guardrails.
  • Design and maintain Terraform/Ansible stacks; implement reusable modules, remote state, and drift detection.
  • Engineer Kubernetes platforms (control plane upgrades, node OS baselines, CNI, ingress/egress, registry, policy).
  • Implement network patterns (hub/spoke, firewalls, WAF, Private Link/Endpoints); troubleshoot routing and DNS.
  • Lead incident response and post-incident reviews; drive reliability backlogs and SLO adoption.
  • Implement ITSG-33-aligned controls; integrate with SIEM, KMS/HSM, and secret managers.
  • Embed FinOps: rightsizing, reservation planning, cost visibility, and optimization guardrails.
  • Mentor junior engineers; partner with Security, Network, App teams to enable platform consumption.

Ability to work shifts/on-call; comfort working on-site in high-security environments.

Travel may be required based on client demand. Accenture promotes a client-centric, flexible work environment.

This role will require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Preferred location: Ottawa.

What You'll Need

Bonus Points If You Have
  • Eligible for Top Secret Security Clearance or currently holds Top Secret Security Clearance status.
  • Cloud certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Policy-as-code and compliance automation.
  • Bilingual (English/French).
