AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team in
Keyport, WA. This position is
onsite.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Plan and support migration of mission owner on-prem data and applications to an AWS GovCloud environment
- Perform daily cloud operations, including networking, backups, monitoring, patching, and cost management.
- Administer Windows domain and server infrastructure, including Active Directory and Windows servers.
- Manage AWS accounts, user access, and resource governance, and provision environments for the developer teams.
- Document any processes which employees need to follow in order to successfully work within the customer computing system.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 4+ years of systems or cloud engineering experience
- Hands-on AWS administration covering systems operations experience, site reliability, and cost management. GovCloud experience preferred
- Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Security+ CE certification (DoD 8140, IAT Level II)
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) and knowledge of classified security enclaves
- Knowledge of web services, including API and REST, and a strong understanding of networking and internet protocols
- Prior IT support of military personnel applications, or experience supporting a DoD customer as a contractor
- AWS certifications preferred, such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer, Advanced Networking, or Security
Security Clearance Requirements:- US Citizenship required with TS Clearance and SCI eligibility
Physical Requirements:- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and government stakeholders, which may involve delivering technical presentations.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
