Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure Job Description:
Performs software development and testing on a forward-looking team for private cloud solutions and microservices containerization and infrastructure development. The Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure participates in all phases of the Software lifecycle.
Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure Required Skills:
• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying microservices to a Kubernetes cluster
• Demonstrated proficiency with Containerization Infrastructure
• Experience with Helm
• Experience with container technologies such as Podman and K3s
• Experience working with CNI, Virtual IP load balancers such as Calico or Multus, and Kube-Vip
• Performs system-level testing, container and infrastructure evaluation, and related tasks and activities.
• Documents system test results, failure reports, and documentation deficiencies.
• Isolates root cause of problems with containers and infrastructure.
• Performs maintenance of system documents (updates and corrections).
• Ability to follow directions of system container and infrastructure engineering leads.
• Proficient with LINUX
Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure Desired Skills:
• Experience with C++ and Java software development
• Experience deploying DevSecOps pipelines in Microsoft Azure
• Ability to perform as a self-starter and work with minimal supervision and oversight when required.
• Ability to use technical information, tables, and drawings.
• Ability to perform system configuration or troubleshooting procedures related to containers and infrastructure.
Cloud Engineer - Containers and Infrastructure Additional Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Software Engineering or equivalent STEM field and at least 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000
