Job Description
The CLO team is looking for an experienced associate to assist with the origination, structuring, and execution of CLO warehouses and CLO transactions with Santander clients. The candidate will participate in the full lifecycle of deals, from origination and warehouses to structuring, syndication, and closing. The candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires multi-tasking, high attention to detail, and close collaboration with internal teams, external constituents, and external clients. The CLO team is part of the Securitized Products Trading Desk, and the associate will have constant opportunities to interact and learn from senior team members in continuously changing and fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities :
- Support the origination, structuring, and execution of CLO warehouses and of CLO new issue, reset, and refinancing transactions
- Structure and model CLO transactions using Excel, Intex, and Rating Agency software
- Build and run CLO cash flow models and produce transaction analysis used for investor marketing, transaction execution, and rating agency analysis
- Analyze CLO collateral loan portfolios including computing key metrics to help guide transaction marketing and structuring
- Support the preparation of materials required in all aspects of CLO transactions including warehouse termsheets, internal credit memos, deal marketing materials, and manager and transaction pitch books
- Coordinate transaction execution timelines and deliverables through coordination with CLO managers, internal and external legal counsel, CLO Syndicate, and Rating Agencies
- Assist in the monitoring of CLO warehouse activity including asset approvals, fundings, and reconciliations
- Continue to expand structuring expertise while also starting to build market presence and client relationships that will ultimately be critical in origination of CLO transactions
Required Skills :
- Prior experience in CLO structuring/banking (strongly preferred) or in a related role with direct exposure to CLOs
- Extensive exposure to CLO documents, Intex, and CLO Rating Agency models
- Strong quantitative and/or technical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Certifications: SIE, Serie 7 and 63

$175,000.00 USD
Maximum:
$225,000.00 USD
