Position Summary:Center For Family Services is seeking experienced and professional NJ Licensed Clinician for the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center. This is a 24-hour psychiatric crisis center for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center provides a nurturing and supportive environment where our consumers can receive therapeutic interventions for up to 24 hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide administrative and clinical supervision to CRSC Clinicians and Case Managers
- Creates and maintains a wellness and recovery-oriented environment by using person-centered planning, language and documentation, and by insuring that services provided promote wellness and recovery outcomes.
- Provides direct service to CRSC consumers and their family members; works with the consumer and family to plan for transition out of the CRSC; works with consumer, family, and CRSC APRN to develop an initial treatment plan; works with consumer and family members to develop and implement a Wellness and Safety Plan; conveys hopefulness toward people served and their families.
- Provides education and technical assistance to team members regarding recovery and wellness; works with the team to develop relevant strategies, such as Wellness and Safety Plans, instilling hope, promoting choice and empowerment, and developing social and spiritual supports; serves as a resource for the team for wellness and recovery strategies.
- Ensures coordination and integration of CRSC services with other Center for Family Services programs and other community programs/agencies in a manner that benefits consumers served.
- Apply trauma informed care approach to consumer interactions.
- Develop Individual Crisis Care plan with consumer.
- Monitor therapeutic environment as necessary.
- Maintain quality documentation; complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner.
- Complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner.
- Communicate with other staff as necessary to promote quality consumer care.
- Observe and report safety, maintenance problems.
- Oversee program operations in absence of the CRSC Program Supervisor.
- Participate in required staff training and staff meetings as scheduled.
- Exercise sound professional judgment and seek assistance as necessary to effectively manage consumer behavior.
- Participate in Center and Program performance improvement activities
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements: - Master's degree in Social Work or allied field of study, licensed in NJ to provide clinical services
2 years of experience working with the serious and persistent mentally ill population including the dually diagnosed (Co-occurring) population - Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- LCSW or LPC and CADC preferred.
- English-Spanish bilingual preferred.
